  • Fold your paper into thirds (like folding a letter) then open it back up.

  • Write the title of the film across the top of your page (you may have to wait for the end to see it).

  • In the top third, draw a large thought bubble; fill it with at least 3 things that you think and wonder about while watching the video.

  • In the middle third, list and define at least 3 vocab words. These should be words that are new to you or words that you may have heard before but do not really know.

  • In the last third, list at least 3 key points.

    • If the video is a documentary or a speech, list at least 3 main ideas or claims.

    • If it is a narrative, list at least 3 important moments in the plot.

2. WATCH AND TAKE NOTES

  • Rewatch the video as many times as you need!

3. WRITE YOUR PARAGRAPH

  • On the back of your notes, write a personal response paragraph.

  • Do NOT write a summary and do NOT write a movie review.

  • Your paragraph needs to be complete and correctly organized; it should be a minimum of 5 sentences.

  • Rewatch the video as many times as you need!

4. TURN IT IN
