LACMA's latest education newsletter includes links to a bunch of great resources:

I used the lesson Lines and Layers as a challenge project for all of my classes. It involves using found objects and materials around your house to create art pieces inspired by Julie Mehrut's work. I look forward to seeing what my kids come up with.

Examining the objects in the 3D modeling project will enhance my history unit on the Mayans when we come back to school in the fall.

LACMA has long been on my list for field trips and teacher workshops, but every year their openings get snatched up quickly and a trip to LA is no easy jaunt from the San Joaquin Valley. It's crazy how this pandemic has either given us time to explore resources that we haven't yet or opened up resources that haven't been accessible in the past. Let's hope it stays that way when we get into our new normal.
